Sheffield United could pile yet more misery on Leeds United after last season’s promotion battle.

Sheffield United fans are reacting to reports linking their side with the Leeds United midfielder, Kalvin Phillips.
The Sheffield Star claims Phillips was added to a list of potential targets by the Blades manager, Chris Wilder, after his side beat Leeds to promotion last season.
And while the newspaper adds that there has been no approach yet from Bramall Lane, Wilder still wants to add to his options in the Whites man’s position.
A string of Premier League sides, notably Tottenham Hotspur, have been credited with an interest in Phillips during this summer’s transfer window.
And it was suggested the 23-year-old may cost would-be buyers as much as £30 million.

Sheffield United have broken their transfer record four times already this summer.
But, money permitting, several of a Blades persuasion would welcome a move for Phillips, who is a product of Leeds’ academy system…
Phillips, who can also provide cover at centre-back, was one of the stars of Leeds’ 2018/19 campaign, which ended in play-off heartbreak after Sheffield United beat them to the second automatic promotion spot.
