The Birmingham City winger appears to be Aston Villa bound, despite the rumoured interest from Sheffield United.

Sheffield United fans are reacting on Twitter to reports a player previously linked with a move to Bramall Lane looks set to join Aston Villa instead.
According to Birmingham Live, the Birmingham City winger, Jota Peleteiro, is undergoing a medical ahead of a £4 million move to Villa Park, which could see Gary Gardner move in the opposite direction.
The development comes around a fortnight after The Sheffield Star reported that United were likely to revive their interest in Jota, whose rumoured £35,000-a-week wages (figures courtesy of Birmingham Live) had put them off a move while still a Championship club.
But Aston Villa’s promotion appears to have given them the upper hand on the Blades.

And with no new signings on the horizon – not to mention a manager, Chris Wilder, again being linked with other jobs – some of a Sheffield United persuasion are growing concerned.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Jota, who played under the Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, at Brentford, scored or made 14 goals in 40 Championship appearances for Birmingham this past campaign.
