Sheffield United have agreed to sell Leonard to Millwall in January.

Chris Wilder has confirmed via the Star that Sheffield United have taken the unusual step of allowing their loaned out midfielder Ryan Leonard to feature against them for Millwall on Saturday.
Leonard left Sheffield United to join Millwall on an initial five-month deal in August – one which will become permanent in the January transfer window.
As far as Wilder is concerned, the 26-year-old is no longer a Blades player – although, interestingly, Nottingham Forest have decided not to do likewise after sanctioning the departure of Ben Brereton to Blackburn under a similar arrangement.
And not everyone of a Sheffield United persuasion is in agreement with their manager’s decision.

This is what they’re saying on Twitter ahead of the Blades’ trip to Millwall on Saturday…
Leonard only moved to Sheffield United in January from Southend, and played 17 times for the Blades before Millwall came calling.
The signing of Oliver Norwood in place of Leonard has arguably improved the Yorkshire side, who also have Paul Coutts on the verge of returning after a long-term injury lay-off.
