Tottenham loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers scored on his first Sheffield United start.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers made a big impression on his first start for Sheffield United last night.
The USA under-20 international is on a season long loan and has so far had to bide his time at the Blades.
Last night he was handed a start by manager Chris Wilder and made a strong impression.

Carter-Vickers scored a first half goal for Sheffield United in their clash at strugglers Bolton Wanerers, and came close to scoring a second soon after.
The centre-back featured for Spurs in pre-season but was sent out to play first team football after Mauricio Pochettino made clear he was unlikely to feature this season.

Spurs signed defenders Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth while letting Kevin Wimmer leave, and Carter-Vickers needs a big season at Bramall Lane in order to boost his chances.
Last night was a strong start, and Carter-Vickers has put himself firmly in the picture to become a regular starter.
Here is a look at how Sheffield United fans reacted to his performance…
