Oliver Norwood made his Sheffield United debut on Tuesday night.

Sheffield United are out of the EFL Cup at the first hurdle after being beaten on penalties by Championship rivals Hull City at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.
The Blades beat Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, and were looking to build on that with a strong showing against Hull.
However, the Tigers took the lead through Jon Toral inside the first 20 minutes, only for Blades hitman Billy Sharp to equalise late on, scoring a superb volley.
The game went to penalties, and after Sheffield United new signing Oliver Norwood missed the opening kick of the shoot-out, Kevin Stewart ended up scoring to send Hull through to the second round.
United may be out of the EFL Cup and have to look ahead to this weekend’s game against Norwich City, but fans have been left hugely impressed by midfielder Norwood.
The 27-year-old signed from Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday in a loan deal which will become permanent in January, and whilst he missed a key penalty in the shoot-out, that didn’t halt praise for the midfielder.

Northern Ireland international Norwood received rave reviews, with fans claiming that he was a joy to watch and will form an ‘unreal’ combination with John Fleck in the heart of the Sheffield United midfield.
Others simply called him unbelievable after a superb showing, and some praised his set piece deliveries, comparing him to David Beckham as Blades fans look forward to seeing more of Norwood in action.
