New signing Lee Evans helped Sheffield United to only their second league win since mid November at Norwich City on Saturday. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder spent the past six months on loan to Wigan Athletic, but seemed to have little trouble readjusting to Championship football.

Wilson put the Blades ahead early on, before Clayton Donaldson extended the visitors’ lead after the break.

Ivo Pinto halved the deficit, but it wasn’t enough to prevent United strengthening their grip on sixth place – where they sit 16 points behind Evans’ old side, Wolves.
