Barnsley’s on-loan Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie achieved a Sheffield double on Saturday – scoring against United just weeks after doing likewise against their city rivals Wednesday.
McBurnie’s Blades strike – which drew Barnsley level to 2-2 – took his goal tally to seven in 11 games since joining the Tykes at the second time of asking in January.
After Tom Bradshaw’s late winner left a dent in Sheffield United’s play-off hopes, some Blades fans have already switched their attention on to next season’s Championship campaign.

McBurnie Barnsley exploits are sure to have earned him plenty of admirers ahead of the new campaign, especially with his Swansea contract up at the end of it.
