The Sheffield United striker is reportedly wanted stateside.

Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp is being linked with a surprise move to Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids – who recently signed a trio of UK based players, Danny Wilson (ex-Rangers), Jack Price (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Tommy Smith (Ipswich Town).
The speculation stems from a report published by ESPN on Friday and has since been regurgitated in various places – including the league’s official website.
Sharp had found himself out of favour at Sheffield United, the club he has supported throughout his life and played for across three spells.

However, the 32-year-old returned to the fold against former employers Leeds United on Saturday, and quickly made up for lost time by scoring both of the Blades’ goals in a 2-1 win.
With promotion still a strong possibility, it is now even less likely that Sharp would call time on his Sheffield United career before the end of the season – at which point he will still have another year left on his Bramall Lane contract.
And most Blades fans are confident their number 10 will remain out of reach of other clubs for the foreseeable future.
