Sheffield United were held to a 0-0 draw by Sheffield Wednesday on Monday.

Sheffield United fans are reacting after Sheffield Wednesday’s Fernando Forestieri failed to return for the second half of Monday’s Steel City Derby at Hillsborough.
Forestieri was making his first ever appearance against the Blades, having missed each of the previous three all-Sheffield encounters with injury.
But the Argentine was withdrawn for George Boyd at the break, with Wednesday boss Steve Bruce later expressing concern about a recurring hamstring problem.
Some of a Sheffield United persuasion aren’t buying it, however, although others aren’t complaining after their side avoided defeat against a much-improved Owls team at Hillsborough.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Forestieri has only scored four goals from 19 games in a stop-start fourth season at Sheffield Wednesday, having found the net 32 times in his previous 88 Owls outings.
The 29-year-old is due to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Hillsborough this summer.

Wednesday missed the chance to move within four points of the play-offs after Monday’s stalemate, which kept Sheffield United outside of the top two.
