Sheffield United and Leicester City each have players in Gareth Southgate’s squad.

Some Sheffield United fans are urging England to call up John Lundstram, after the Leicester City midfielder James Maddison withdrew from the Three Lions’ squad through illness.
Maddison is the second player in Lundstram’s position to pull out this week, after Fabian Delph of Everton. But a replacement has yet to be summoned.
And after Dean Henderson’s induction earlier this week, some of a Sheffield United persuasion hope the same fate awaits his Bramall Lane teammate.
A bit-part player in Sheffield United’s promotion-winning campaign, Lundstram has made a surprisingly positive start to life in the Premier League – scoring or assisting two goals in eight games.
It has ensured that he, much like his Leicester counterpart Maddison, is extremely popular with this season’s fantasy football players.
Maddison’s absence means his wait for a senior international cap continues, after the £22.5 million man failed to feature in September’s fixtures.

His Leicester teammate Ben Chilwell remains in Gareth Southgate’s squad.
