Washington left Queens Park Rangers to join Sheffield United in August.

The former Queens Park Rangers striker Conor Washington made his first start for Sheffield United against Birmingham City on Wednesday, three weeks after he arrived at Bramall Lane.
United landed Washington on a year-long deal for free after the Northern Irishman’s QPR contract was terminated by mutual consent hours earlier.
And after a couple of cameos off the bench, Washington was handed a full debut ahead of the Blues’ visit, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
But how did the 21-year-old get on? This is what those of a Sheffield United persuasion are saying about his performance on Twitter…
Stuart Wilson @Jafooolie: Washington was ****. Start Sharp and McGoldrick every game. Fitness should not be an issue at this level of football. #sufc #twitterblades
Washington has failed to score in any of his nine appearances this season, six of which came in QPR colours.
And his lack of goals saw Rangers bring in two new strikers – Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells – towards the end of the summer transfer window.
What did you make of the former QPR player’s full debut for Sheffield United?
