Dowell left Everton to join Sheffield United on loan at the end of last month.

Sheffield United gave a debut to Kieran Dowell against Barnet on Sunday, days after the Everton midfielder arrived at Bramall Lane on loan.
Dowell was one of 10 changes made by the Blades boss, Chris Wilder – who delivered a scathing assessment of many of those after a 1-0 defeat against the National League side, which saw the Championship promotion chasers dumped out of the FA Cup.
Nevertheless, the Everton academy product was named man of the match by Sheffield United’s official Twitter account afterwards.
But while some Blades fans were impressed with Dowell’s display, many aren’t convinced that the 21-year-old – nor any of their players – deserved that particular accolade.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Shaq Coulthirst’s first-half penalty proved enough for Barnet, who are managed now by Darren Currie – nephew of the former Sheffield United favourite and current Blades ambassador, Tony.
United turned to key men, Chris Basham, Mark Duffy and Billy Sharp in the second half, but could not find a way past Mark Cousins in the visitors’ goal.
