Austin could be on his way out of the Sheffield United captain’s former club, Southampton.
The Sheffield United captain, Billy Sharp, has got Blades fans talking with a tweet to Charlie Austin’s wife.
Bianca Austin tweeted the following photo with her Southampton striker husband, captioned ‘The greatest showman’.
Austin is among those being linked with a summer move to Sheffield United – albeit tenuously, via some bookmakers.
And Sharp, one assumes, was aware of that when he posted the following response.
But some Unitedities have expressed excitement nonetheless at the former Southampton striker’s tweet.

Sheffield United are expected to bolster their forward line in the summer transfer window, having seen Gary Madine and Scott Hogan depart at the end of their temporary contracts.
And Austin could be on his way out of Southampton after entering the final year of his deal – which is worth £70,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – with no sign of a renewal.
Southampton are said to be chasing the former Sheffield United striker, Che Adams, are they too look to strengthen in the 29-year-old’s position.
