Sheffield United suffered a damaging defeat against Bristol City, while Leeds United left it late to beat Millwall on Saturday.

Sheffield United fans on Twitter provided a mixed response to Leeds United beating Millwall 3-2 on Saturday afternoon in another crucial week in the race for promotion.
Prior to the international break, Chris Wilder’s side recorded a 1-0 win at Elland Road to go above their Yorkshire rivals in the Championship table.
But when domestic football returned to action on Saturday, a topsy-turvy afternoon saw the Blades lose a 2-1 lead at home to play-off chasers Bristol City, with Andreas Weimann firing a hat-trick.
Remarkably, moments after Weimann netted the winning goal at Bramall Lane, Marcelo Bielsa’s side went on to score their own winner through Pablo Hernandez.
One Sheffield United fan on Twitter stated that with Leeds moving back into the automatic places, the ‘pressure’ is all on them now as Wilder’s side prepare for a tricky clash against Preston North End.
While another fan insisted that Leeds ‘won’t win’ all of their remaining games and that there is ‘a lot’ to play for in these final few months of the season.
Here is a selection of Sheffield United fans reacting to Leeds’ win:
There is no doubt that the race for promotion, both in the automatic stakes and the play-off stakes, is going to go to the wire.
Given how things can change so dramatically on a week-by-week basis, it won’t be a surprise to see automatic places and play-off places still up for grabs on the final day of the campaign.
