Coutts captained the Sheffield United Under-23s against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.

Sheffield United fans are discussing whether or not the Blades should rest Oliver Norwood against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, with the influential midfielder at risk of missing next month’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday.
Norwood has accumulated nine booking this season, and is one yellow card from an automatic two-match ban.
Should the £2 million former Brighton player miss either fixture, it is likely that Paul Coutts will be the man to replace him.
But after struggling against the Sheffield Wednesday Under-23s on Tuesday night, Coutts’ suitability is now up for debate among those of a Sheffield United persuasion.
This is what’s being said on Twitter…
Coutts was a key member of the Sheffield United side that cruised to the League One title two years ago, and maintained his form upon the Blades’ return to the Championship.
But a freak injury suffered against Burton Albion in late 2017 ruled the Scottish midfielder out until the start of this season, in which all but two of his 13 first-team appearances have come as a substitute.
