Tom Lees, the Owls captain, is edging closer to a return, while Massimo Luongo and Keiren Westwood are available.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has provided a fitness update regarding three of his players ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash with Leeds United at Hillsborough.
Tom Lees, the Owls captain, is back in full training but will not feature in Saturday lunch time’s Yorkshire derby as he needs to rebuild his football fitness.
The 28-year-old Wednesday defender has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the warm-up ahead of the Hillsborough fixture against Queens Park Rangers on 31 August.
Midfielder Massimo Luongo, scorer of winners in the Owls’ last two home matches, is available despite coming off in Tuesday’s win over Stoke City with an ankle knock.
Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is also available after missing the club’s last two games with an ankle issue, and Monk admitted he has a decision to make given Cameron Dawson’s good displays against Stoke and Cardiff.
“Tom Lees is back in full training and we need to build his football fitness now to bring him back into contention,” Monk told the Wednesday media team. “Keiren Westwood is back training. Massimo has trained as normal also.”

Speaking in further detail as quoted by the Yorkshire Post, he said: “I am delighted to have (Lees) back out on the pitches and building his football fitness and hopefully bringing him back into contention.
“Massimo feels good and we are very hopeful for the weekend. Keiren is back on the training pitch and there are no problems with him. Cameron has been fantastic in both the last two games and made two really crucial saves as well. I have got a difficult decision to make and probably one I will sleep on.”
