Alan Shearer has raved about Fulham winger Manor Solomon after the Israeli star scored again in his side’s 2-0 win over Leeds United in the FA Cup – amid reports that Arsenal and Tottenham want to sign the ex-Shakhtar Donestk star.

Solomon, 23, signed a one-year deal with Fulham after FIFA allowed non-Ukraninan players based in the country to suspend their contracts. It saw Fulham land him on a one-year deal. The Cottagers are expected to want to keep him.

But, Ynet report that Antonio Conte is interested in bringing the 31-time Israel star to Tottenham. Arsenal are also said to be keeping tabs on his situation. It comes after he netted his fourth goal in 11 appearances for Marco Silva’s side.

Having missed the first part of the season after a knee operation, Solomon has come into the side and is sparkling. Three goals in three in the Premier League, all off the bench, saw him start against Leeds United on Tuesday night.

He curled home a gorgeous second for Fulham, after Joao Palhinha’s opener. A fourth goal in four games for the eye-catching winger. Shearer raved about the wide man, branding him as “dangerous” and his goal as “magnificent”.

On 44 minutes, Shearer said on BBC One: “He’s dangerous, Solomon. Tricky, quick, gets the ball into the box. A threat.” Then, after his goal: “You know exactly what he’s going to do. It’s another thing stopping him. Magnificent strike.”

What is Solomon’s best move, then? As things stand, he remains a Shakhtar player with his deal ending in December. But the chances are he will be on the move in the summer. Fulham are probably on pole – but he could go bigger.

Tottenham have Arnaut Danjuma on loan, while Lucas Moura is set to leave the club in the summer. Bringing Solomon in as a replacement would be a smart move from Spurs. Arsenal need cover for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Solomon has shown that he can have a real impact from the bench and that will prove tempting for both North London clubs. It is unclear how much Solomon would cost interested parties, but it will not be a huge amount.
