Shaun Goater has stated on social networking site Twitter that he would love to have Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez at Manchester City.
The former City striker made the comment during the Premier League game between Manchester United and Arsenal at the weekend.
Chile international forward Sanchez started the match at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon for the Gunners and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Goater was following the match, and the former City striker was impressed with the performance of Sanchez.
Sanchez is one of the best players in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Arsenal team.
The former Barcelona forward has scored six goals and created 25 chances in 12 league matches for the Gunners so far this season.
The 27-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, has worked with City manager Pep Guardiola at Barcelona.
Sanchez would be a brilliant signing for City, but do the Citizens need yet another attacking player?
Probably not, as Guardiola has enough attack-minded players to compete for the Premier League title.
