Liverpool and Manchester City are the two main contenders for the Premier League title this season.

Shaun Goater has hit back at criticism of Manchester City’s defence on Twitter by pointing out Liverpool conceding three goals against FC Salzburg.
Liverpool won 4-3 against FC Salzburg at Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were actually 3-0 up after 36 minutes, but the visiting team scored thrice to level the game before the hosts found the winning goal.
Former Manchester City striker Goater was following the game, and he has hit back at criticism of the Citizens’ defence by singling out Liverpool’s disappointing display at the back on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool have not been great defensively in the Champions League so far this season, and it is clear that the Reds need to improve in that department.
However, it cannot be ignored that the Reds have conceded just five goals in seven Premier League games, while defending English champions City have shipped in seven goals in as many league matches.
Both City and Liverpool have brilliant backlines, but there is room for improvement in both.
