Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Tottenham announced that they will be introducing fan representation onto the board.
Following Chelsea’s recent decision, Spurs will now allow elected supporters to attend boardroom meetings.
By doing this, the likes of Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis will hopefully avoid making disastrous decisions like the Super League fiasco.
Tottenham also – finally – apologised to the fanbase for their involvement in the Super League incident.
However, Tottenham somewhat stained their apologetic statement by calling out the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust.
They didn’t need to do that so publicly, and instead could’ve privately discussed that matter with the group themselves.
However, this is – at least – a step forward after so many backward steps.

Aside from the Super League drama, Tottenham angered their fans even more when charging a £60 flat fee to watch the Aston Villa game on May 19th.
After a period in which many have lost their jobs and suffered financially, it was a tone deaf and disgraceful decision.
Now, Arsenal fans have reacted to this news with jealously.
After watching Chelsea, and now Spurs, make this decision, some of the Gunners supporters are keen to see their club follow.

Sadly, there is yet to be any talk of Stan Kroenke making such a decision.
Hopefully, if the Arsenal fans continue to protest and make some noise, they will get the attention of the boardroom.
It’s time for these greedy owners to listen to supporters.
For now, let’s see how the Arsenal fans on Twitter reacted to Tottenham’s announcement…
