Adrien Rabiot did not hold back in his post-match press conference, turning on his own France teammates following their chaotic 6-4 World Cup defeat to England.

England’s 6-4 victory over France to secure third place had all the hallmarks of an international friendly.

With the defensive side of things completely abandoned after their semi-final exits, Miami Stadium witnessed a wide-open, end-to-end exhibition.

It felt custom-built for personal accolades and stat-padding. Bukayo Saka took full advantage to smash a ruthless hat-trick, while Kylian Mbappe actively padded his Golden Boot tally with a second-half brace that sees him move two goals ahead of Lionel Messi in the top scorer charts.

Adrien Rabiot has a meltdown in post-match presser

The post-match fallout from France’s chaotic 6-4 World Cup bronze medal defeat to England has turned incredibly toxic, with a furious Adrien Rabiot turning on his own teammates.

The AC Milan midfielder did not hold back, pointing fingers at the squad’s total lack of defensive discipline after leaking six goals.

Speaking to the press after the match, Rabiot had this to say.

“We came out in a pretty shameful. way during that first half! The behavior of certain players is something I’d never seen before. It’s a bit disappointing. It was the last match to really shine in this competition.

“We can’t just settle for half-assing things like that. But in the first half, certain behaviors… It’s pretty unacceptable!!!”
