Tottenham Hotspur fans have shared their thoughts on Ezri Konsa penning a new contract with Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old has been outstanding for Villa this season and it has seemingly alerted those teams in Europe.
Along with the current Premier League champions, the Atheltic did report that Tottenham were also looking at Konsa this summer.
But any thought of the rising defender making a switch when the transfer window re-opens has been dismissed by Konsa extending his stay at Villa Park until 2026.
Some Tottenham fans aren’t too fussed at the news because they feel he isn’t worth pushing the boat out for.
Whilst others aren’t surprised that their club isn’t doing all it can to try and sign the talented defender.
Many Tottenham fans will remember those well-documented rumours that they wanted to sign Jack Grealish when Villa were in the Championship.
This rumour doesn’t have the force the Grealish one had, but Konsa is a player who should become an England international down the line and potentially be playing in Europe.
