Gabby Agbonlahor stated on Twitter that West Brom’s decision to sack Slaven Bilic today is a ‘shambles’ and he ‘didn’t deserve that’.

Added with that, Match of the Day host, Gary Lineker commented on Sam Allardyce potentially getting the gig following West Brom’s controversial decision.

It’s pretty clear that such a decision was made way before yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester City, but the timing looks pretty pathetic now given the result and performance Albion managed to muster up at the Etihad.

Nonetheless, this is the reaction ex-Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor provided on Twitter, along with Lineker.

Sky Sports are reporting that Allardyce could make yet another comeback and he is line to replace Bilic at the Hawthorns.

If he does take charge then his first task will be a Midlands derby against Aston Villa on Sunday.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Allardyce replacing Bilic is met with disappointment from the West Brom fans because this isn’t exactly long-term planning.
