West Ham defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Former West Ham goalkeeper-turned-pundit Shaka Hislop has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction after his former club won against Chelsea on Saturday.
It was West Ham’s first win in their last seven Premier League games, and a win for the first time under new manager David Moyes.
The Hammers scored the only goal of the match after six minutes, when Marko Arnautovic curled into the bottom corner after exchanging passes with Manuel Lanzini.
Chelsea responded strongly but West Ham defence stayed resolute. Moyes picked Adrian in goal for the second successive game, and he made some fantastic saves throughout the match.
Hislop was pleased to see Adrian’s performance, and praised him on Twitter. He tweeted:
Despite the win, West Ham still remain in the bottom three. However, the performance has been very encouraging, and they can draw plenty of positives from the game.
West Ham enjoyed only 31% of possession, and had only five shots during the course of 90 minutes, according to BBC Sport.
