Aston Villa have been linked with the 36-year-old.

Shaka Hislop does not believe that Aston Villa will sign John Terry in an interview with ESPN.
The veteran Premier League defender has been linked with a switch to Aston Villa after a photograph of him and Steve Bruce on a golf course surfaced.
The 36-year-old is a free agent following a lengthy and illustrious spell with Chelsea which yielded five Premier League crowns and a Champions League title.

It was suggested that Terry did not want to join a Premier League club and potentially face the Blues, having spent 22 years in West London.
Asked by ESPN whether he’ll end up at Aston Villa, Hislop said: “I don’t see why joining a Championship club, where the expectation is to win promotion, how that ticks boxes for him. Either you leave English football or you stay in English football. This one doesn’t make much sense for me.”

He would certainly be a high-profile signing for Aston Villa but it remains to be seen whether the West Midlands club could or would pay big wages.
At 36, his best days are firmly behind him and although he can still do a job, Villa should be looking at centre-halves who would be an asset in the Championship and the Premier League, should they get there next season.
