Marko Arnautovic is one of the best players at West Ham United, and has been linked with moves to Everton and Manchester United.

According to The Sun, Everton and United are interested in signing Arnautovic from Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old Austria international, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 28 Premier League starts for the Hammers this past season.

Leaving West Ham for Manchester United would be a massive step-up for the former Stoke City star, but former Newcastle United goalkeeper Hislop, who was on the books of the Hammers from 1998 until 2002 and during the 2005-06 season, does not see Arnautovic making the switch.

Hislop told ESPN FC: “I like Arnautovic a lot, but I just don’t see him going to Manchester United.

“He’s playing a big role for West Ham. I just see him as a bit-part player if he does go to Old Trafford, doesn’t make sense to me.”

Marko Arnautovic to Manchester United?

Arnautovic has responded to recent speculation linking him with a move to United, telling VivaroNews Sport that it is nice to hear about the Red Devils’ interest, but he played it down.

If the Red Devils make an offer, then it could be hard for the Austrian to turn it down, having worked with manager Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.
