Former Newcastle United and West Ham United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has told ESPN FC that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Trinidad and Tobago international believes that Kane is world class, and that the England international striker does not have to prove himself.

Hislop, though, believes that the 24-year-old will leave the North London outfit in search for European glory.

“I think he is absolutely fine where he is,” Hislop told ESPN FC about Kane. “He is world class. That is without question.

“I think time will tell whether Spurs are able to compete at the higher end of European football. As we sit right now, I don’t think so.

“I don’t think Daniel Levy is that kind of man, so I will put down Harry Kane to leave in search of European glory. I don’t think he needs to leave Spurs to prove himself as world class.”

Harry Kane of Tottenham celebrates scoring to make it 1-0 during the pre-season match between Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus at Wembley Stadium on August 5, 2017 in London, England.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has scored goals consistently over the past three seasons.

For the past two seasons, the 24-year-old has won the Premier League Golden Boot, and one should not be surprised if he makes it three years in a row.

Tottenham have progressed well as a club and on the pitch as a team under manager Mauricio Pochettino over the past three or so seasons.

Kane has been a fundamental figure in Spurs’ success, and the striker seems to be enjoying his football at the North London club.
