Will the Liverpool hitman join West Ham United in January?
Shaka Hislop has told ESPN that West Ham United should move for out-of-favour Liverpool hitman Daniel Sturridge in January.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Anfield after failing to score in any of his nine Premier League appearances – five of those were from the bench.
The ex-Chelsea man has found himself behind the likes of Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the pecking order.

And The Star reported recently that West Ham were willing to offer him an escape route when the transfer window re-opens for business next month.
Hislop spent four years at Upton Park during his playing days until 2002, and the ESPN pundit would love to see the Liverpool man turn up at his old club.

He told ESPN: “West Ham were rumoured to be interested in him way back in the beginning of the year. Injury issues continued to plague him…I think this one happens. We need him.
Asked if it’s a good fit, Hislop added: “Absolutely. Back in London – he can’t turn down West Ham, can he?”
The Star also reported that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to lose him, but a satisfactory offer from West Ham and Slaven Bilic could tempt the Merseyside club’s hierarchy.
