Willock was given a rare start for the Gunners by Mikel Arteta last night, and his performance caught the eye.
Willock claimed a goal and an assist, with his energy in midfield really setting the tone for Arsenal.
The youngster looked as if he was playing with a point to prove.
And many Arsenal fans have suggested that he should be picked more regularly now.
Arsenal fans were not the only ones who were impressed by Willock, as Arteta also singled him out for praise after the game in Football London.
Willock actually made more appearances than any other Arsenal player last term, but he has been regularly overlooked this time around.
His performance last night, therefore, came at a good time as it was a reminder of the quality he possesses, and could well earn him more regular game time in the coming weeks.
