Sevilla have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon as a potential replacement for Ludwig Augustinsson, who seems to be on his way to Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa.

According to Mucho Deporte, Sevilla are interested in bringing Tottenham and Spain international left-back Reguilon back to the club.

The Spaniard, who played as a left wing-back under Antonio Conte at Tottenham last season, spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Sevilla from Real Madrid.

However, the La Liga outfit cannot pay the former Madrid player his £4 million-a-year salary and want him only on loan with no obligation to make the deal permanent next summer.

Marca have reported that Sevilla are looking at £28 million (talkSPORT) Reguilon as a potential replacement for Aston Villa target Augustinsson.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Villa have reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign the 28-year-old Sweden international left-back on loan with an option to make the move permanent.

Reguilon has been left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour, and it seems that head coach Antonio Conte has decided that the 25-year-old Spain international will not be part of his squad.
