Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado looks increasingly likely to depart the Premier League this January with Sevilla reportedly stepping up their interest in the Spaniard, who is already thought to be a target for Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old has struggled to adapt to the demands of the English top-flight since moving to White Hart Lane from Valencia in the summer of 2013 as part of a £26 million deal.
A total of 29 Premier League appearances have brought just six league goals for the man who racked up a solid 81 goals in 141 games for his previous Spanish employers.
And with Tottenham reportedly in the market for a new forward come January, Soldado could well make way with the Londoners now willing to take a loss on the former Real Madrid academy graduate.
Inter Milan had been the frontrunners to recruit the one-time Spain international as part of a deal that would see the Nerazzurri shell out £11 million to bring the striker to the San Siro.
But the Serie A giants could now face stiff competition from Europa League holders Sevilla, with Tuttomercatoweb claiming that manager Unai Emery is keen on the idea of bringing Soldado to the club.
The Sevilla manager previously managed the Spaniard at Valencia and could be the man to help get the best out of the once-prolific Primera Division marksmen.
Spurs, meanwhile, have been linked with several high-profile replacements including Manolo Gabbiadini and Jackson Martinez, as well as Klaas Jan-Huntelaar and Yassim Ben Yedder.
