Who could Leeds United replace Thomas Christiansen with?

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has been fired by the club after a horrific 4-1 loss at home to Cardiff.

The Whites have not won a game in 2018, and lost in the FA Cup to League Two side Newport County.

Mark Hughes

Recently sacked by Stoke City, Mark Hughes is highly experienced and is a big name who is familiar with English football.

His former Manchester United connections may not make him ideal, but he has handled high pressure jobs including Manchester City – showing disregard for his former United spell.

Marco Silva

Marco Silva might just be the best option if Leeds can get him, but it will not be easy.

Silva is a league winner in Greece with Olympiakos and impressed with Watford this season, attracting interest from Everton, before his shock sacking last month.

Juande Ramos

Former Tottenham and Real Madrid boss Juande Ramos was linked with Leeds in the summer and remains out of work.

He has experience working with Leeds director of football Victor Orta at Sevilla and this could work in his favour.
