Pierre-Michel Lasogga joined Leeds United on a season-long loan deal from Hamburg in the summer transfer window.

Lasogga joined Championship club Leeds from German side Hamburg in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old striker made the switch on a season-long loan deal on transfer deadline day.
The former Germany Under-21 international is expected to be replacement for Chris Wood, who joined Premier League club Burnley from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
Former Leeds and Derby County midfielder Johnson, 38, has said that he is looking forward to watching Lasogga in action.
The Englishman has also stated that the German striker needs to hit the ground running.

“The player I’m most excited to see is Pierre-Michel Lasogga from Hamburg,” Johnson told Bwin.com.
“He’s been highly thought of and sounds like an exciting player. Sixteen players is a huge turnaround in the squad.
“They lost Chris Wood, who was top goalscorer and a key player for them, so Lasogga is one that needs to hit the ground running.”

Leeds have made a strong start to the 2017-18 Championship campaign and are very much in the running for the playoffs.
The early signs are very positive for the Whites, who have looked strong defensively and have also scored goals.
The West Yorkshire outfit will take on Burton Albion at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
