Jamie O’Hara has joked on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat last night is made worse by the fact West Ham United fans are acting triumphantly.

Spurs’ Premier League title hopes suffered a bit of a blow by losing 3-1 to Liverpool in North London.

And as a result, fourth-placed West Ham are two points and one place above Tottenham in the table.

It’s pretty uncommon for the Hammers to be higher than their London rivals at the halfway stage of a Premier League campaign.

And former Lilywhites midfielder O’Hara has revealed that the vocal West Ham fans are making this unbearable for him.

There’s no love lost between Tottenham and West Ham supporters, but even those in the north part of the capital will respect what David Moyes’s side are doing this season.

The fact that they occupied the fourth and final Champions League qualification place prior to Liverpool’s victory last night is testament to what the Scottish manager is building in East London and hatred or not, they have to be respected.
