The hosts have been on a decent run of form since Sam Allardyce took over at the end of November, and they currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table.
A finish inside the Europa League spots is not outside the realms of reality for Everton, but they must string together a sustained run of victories in order for that to be at all possible.
The visitors, meanwhile, have really struggled of late, drawing their last three league games. What has made their poor run even harder to accept has been their bitter rivals Manchester City’s impeccable performances this season.
United need a win just as badly as Everton, so there should be an exciting game of football on display at Goodison Park.

Seriously Man Utd? Seriously! They have just played Leicester, Burnley and Southampton and have not won once. I do not know what is happening there. If Arsenal and Tottenham can keep winning then United will be lucky to get in the top four. They are struggling. But then you have Everton. They didn’t have a shot on target against Chelsea at home and then losing to Bournemouth was a kick in the teeth. It’s alright drawing with Chelsea and not having a shot and then getting points in other places, but personally I think you need to have a go at home. I think there might just be one goal in this and United will sneak it.
