Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport during their live coverage of Everton’s FA Cup thriller against Tottenham that he couldn’t believe ‘how cool’ Carlo Ancelotti was acting last night.
At half-time of extra time, the camera panned to Everton man’s in the dugout and Ferdinand labelled the Italian as one of the ‘coolest men’ as he sipped on his Bovril drink.
A man of Ancelotti’s experience, he has seen it all, even a 5-4 win in a knockout tournament, so yesterday was nothing for the trophy-laden coach.
But as Everton and Tottenham went into the final 15 minutes of their two-hour marathon, Ferdinand lauded Ancelotti in the dugout.
“Seriously, how cool is he though?” said Ferdinand. “This geezer in the picture in Carlo Ancelotti.
“This is one of the coolest men. In a situation like this. Pressure. Your main goalscorer is off the pitch. Sipping into the Bovril.”

Everton supporters have been craving for European football and a trophy for many years now, and it may well come all at once this season.
At this moment in time, the Merseyside giants are heading for both, but that can all change with a bad run of form.
It’s three more wins and Everton are lifting the FA Cup, and maintain their current form in the Premier League, and not only can they secure European football, but potentially finish in the top-four.
