The Giovanni van Bronckhorst era is underway at Rangers, with the Dutch coach taking over his first training session with the club this week.
The Gers posted on their official Twitter account footage of the new boss taking over his first session at the Rangers Training Centre. And to say supporters liked what they saw would be an understatement.
The video shows Van Bronckhorst putting players through the wringer ahead of Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash against Sparta Prague. With three points needed if Rangers are to progress to the Round of 32.
Van Bronckhorst was in the stands at Hampden Park over the weekend as Rangers crashed out of the Scottish League Cup in embarrassing fashion to Hibernian.
Indeed, the arrival of Van Bronckhorst has many fans excited about the remainder of the season. And supporters are already loving what they have seen from the Dutch manager in his first training sessions with Rangers.
With Rangers top of the SPL table, Van Bronckhorst will no doubt be eager to maintain that position for the rest of the season. And based off reaction from his first session, supporters are confident.
