Leeds United striker, Patrick Bamford, was left shocked after he was told on UMM’s official YouTube channel that he has the most nutmegs in the Premier League this season.
Bamford shared that he doesn’t go into games thinking that he is going to ‘meg someone’, as he stated that his Leeds teammate, Raphinha, is the one with the ‘flair’ in the side.
Not many supporters would have had Bamford on top of their list as the King of Nutmegs in England’s top-flight, but he holds that crown.
And when he was told about it, this is how the Leeds hitman reacted.
On being told he has the most nutmegs in the Premier League this season: “Serious?!” reacted Bamford in a surprised manner.
“I don’t go into a game thinking I am going to meg someone today. I would probably say even in my team, Rapha (Raphinha), he has the flair and the silky skills. And the Brazilian side to him.”

Bamford is known for his sheer work rate, technical ability and goalscoring touch rather than showcasing that clever ability to nutmeg an opponent at any given opportunity.
But he will be rolling out that quality today as Leeds take on Liverpool in a mouthwatering Premier League showdown.
When these two last met, Liverpool came out as 4-3 winners on the opening day of the campaign, with Bamford getting on the scoresheet.
And given that he has continued his goalscoring touch since then, he will be backing himself to do the business once more tonight.
