Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon has taken to Twitter to express his admiration of Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for his performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday evening.
Courtois made a series of saves for Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid in the final against Liverpool at Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
Madrid won 1-0.
Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
The best player on the pitch was former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut, who made some world-class saves.
The £35 million (Sky Sports) Belgium international goalkeeper denied Mohamed Salah twice and also kept Sadio Mane at bay.
It was a 10 out of 10 performance from one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

And his former Real Madrid teammate Reguilon, who has been playing as a left wing-back at Tottenham under head coach Antonio Conte this season, was impressed.
Sergio Reguilon on Thibaut Courtois v Liverpool
Thibaut Courtois has been superb for Real Madrid this season, and we think that he was the best player against Liverpool in the 2022 UEFA Champions League final this evening.
The Belgian is at his best now, and he has to be considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Maybe, just maybe, even the best.
