Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon has told Cadena SER that he thinks Jose Mourinho is ‘honestly great’.
Spurs were seeking a new, more attack-minded left back over the summer in order to add competition for Ben Davies, and found one in Reguilon.
The 23-year-old starred on loan at Sevilla last season, bagging three goals and five assists in a superb campaign as he won the Europa League.
Reguilon has joined Spurs with a buy-back deal in place with Real Madrid, meaning he could end up heading back to the Spanish capital next summer.
Still, Spurs are enjoying Reguilon right now, and he has already chipped in with three assists in his first seven games for Tottenham.
He may be a little more attacking than many of Mourinho’s full backs of the past, but Reguilon appears to be loving life under the Spurs boss.

Reguilon has admitted that working with Mourinho is ‘very good’, and ‘honestly great’, claiming that he loves working with such a demanding and intense coach.
“With Mourinho, very good,” said Reguilon. “Honestly, great. I like this type of coach: demanding, intense,” he added.
