Tottenham Hotspur have today secured their second summer signing with Sevilla winger Bryan Gil arriving to reunite with Sergio Reguilon.
Spurs signed goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini over the weekend, bringing the Atalanta stopper in on loan for the season with a view to a permanent move.
Fabio Paratici isn’t hanging around though and has now struck another deal, this time bringing winger Gil to North London.
The deal sees Tottenham pay £21million plus winger Erik Lamela, with Spurs fans no doubt excited to see Gil in action now.
Branded a ‘little Cruyff’ by Marca and compared to Jack Grealish by The Mirror, Tottenham appear to be landing a silky dribbler and a major talent for the future.
The 20-year-old will reunite with a familiar face at Tottenham, as he was at Sevilla with Sergio Reguilon in 2019, with the two Spaniard surely delighted to be back together again.
Reguilon has now taken to Instagram to react, stating ‘welcome brother’ whilst adding ‘this club is amazing, you will love it’.
The left back seemingly gave Gil a great verdict on life at Tottenham, and they could now join forces down the left flank for years to come.
