Speaking on Soccer AM’s YouTube Channel, Sergio Reguilon has spoken about what it’s like to train with Eric Dier on a daily basis.

The Spanish full-back was speaking about Dier being rated as the most aggressive player at Tottenham on FIFA 21, and he says that the England international is a fierce competitor in training.

Unfortunately for Reguilon, playing against someone who plays so aggressively does come with its negatives as Reguilon has picked up a number of knocks in training due to Dier.

“At training we have to compete and we have to go for all of the balls, and on my leg I had like, I don’t know, 15 knocks, and I’m dead, I’m dead.” Reguilon said.

Reguilon was then asked how many of those knocks were caused by Eric Dier’s tackling, to which he replied:

“Eric Dier kills everyone in training and in the matches”

We all love Dier for his aggressive style, and it seems as though Reguilon is appreciative of his passion as well.

It seems as though Dier never tones it down outside of games either, with Reguilon claiming that he ‘kills everyone’ in training.

We certainly don’t envy any Tottenham players coming up against Dier in a training session, especially in the middle of winter when the last thing you want is a crunching tackle during a session.

However, that’s what makes Dier who he is, and if he didn’t have that fire in his belly, he wouldn’t be anywhere near as effective as a player.
