The winger left Arsenal for Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window.
Quoted by FourFourTwo, former Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry has claimed he is grateful for his time with the Gunners.
The German midfielder departed the Emirates in the summer transfer window when he left to join Werder Bremen.
He has since impressed in Germany and recently scored a hattrick on his international debut in the 8-0 win over San Marino.
That has left the Arsenal faithful questioning why the winger was even allowed to leave the club this summer.

Gnabry is clearly not regretting the move but admits he would not be the player he is now had he not spent time in England.
“I would not have been the player I am, not without my time in England,” FourFourTwo quotes him as saying.
“There is Arsenal’s playing style, for example, that I had to learn during my time there.”
“And it is a given that you learn a lot and improve when you are training with great players like at Arsenal for three years. That was definitely the case with me.”

Gnabry will now be hoping to continue impressing with Werder Bremen for the remainder of the season and keep his place in the Germany squad moving forward.
He already has four goals and one assist in his first nine games in the Bundesliga this season, more than he managed throughout the whole of his Arsenal career.
He will be keen to keep on adding to that tally and proving to the Gunners that letting him go this summer was a big mistake.
