Glasgow Rangers have another exciting teenager chomping at the bit and eager to impress.

Rangers youngster Serge Atakayi has been speaking to the Evening Times about how he hopes to impress Gers boss Pedro Caixinha.
The 18-year-old arrived at Ibrox last summer but he is yet to make his debut for Rangers’ senior side, instead having to make do with under-20 football.
Given his age and inexperience that is no surprise, but with Caixinha giving a number of young players their first-team bow this season Atakayi will be hoping to join them in due course.
“I will do my best in training and I have to impress the manager before I can get in the first-team,” he told the Evening Times.
“I need to show him my best when I go with the first-team and when I play for the under-20s and hopefully I will play for Rangers.”
Caixinha has recently given Gers debuts to Myles Beerman and David Bates and Atakayi has paid close attention to their progress.

“I am happy for Myles and Batesy getting their chance and I want to follow them,” he added.
Atakayi is a right winger who previously played for Finnish side FF Jaro, for whom he turned out 37 times, scoring three goals in the process.
He will know he has to work hard every day and develop his game before making his Ibrox bow, however he is saying all the right things and his chance should come next season if not before.
