Jamie Carragher has praised Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on X for his performance against Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea in the London derby.

Tottenham Hotspur took on London rivals Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening.

It was a hugely eventful match.

Spurs ended the London derby with nine men.

Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were the two Tottenham players who were sent off.

One Tottenham player who did well was Guglielmo Vicario.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper made a number of important saves and was one of the best players on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher was impressed, as you can see below.

Vicario joined Tottenham from Empoli in the summer transfer window.

The Italian has established himself as the number one goalkeeper for Spurs and has been consistently good this season.

Tottenham lost the London derby against Chelsea.

Spurs are now second in the Premier League table with 26 points from 11 matches.

Tottenham are a point behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur will bounce back

In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur will bounce back from the defeat to Chelsea in the London derby.

Yes, it was a bad result in the end, but you have to note that Spurs ended the game with nine men.

It is never easy to win or even draw a match with 10 men.

And, Tottenham had two players sent off.

The Spurs players who were on the pitch were brilliant.

I believe that Tottenham will move on from the loss at the hands of Chelsea.

Spurs will return to action on Saturday when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League.
