James McFadden has praised Celtic right-back Josip Juranovic on BBC Sport for his ‘Panenka’ penalty against Bayer Leverkusen.
Celtic suffered a 3-2 defeat to German club Bayer away from home in the Europa League last night.
The loss in Group G means that Ange Postecoglou’s side have failed to progress to the knockout rounds of the European competition.
Juranovic scored with an audacious penalty in the 40th minute.
It was a truly brilliant goal from the 26-year-old Croatia international right-back.

Juranovic joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw in the summer of 2021.
The 26-year-old has done well for the Hoops so far this season and has established himself as an important player in the team.
The Celtic no. 88 has scored one goal in eight Scottish Premiership appearances so far this season.
Juranovic has scored two goals in three Europa League matches for the Hoops so far this campaign.
The right-back’s goal against Bayer was truly outrageous, and Celtic fans will hope that he scores more like that.
