Alan Shearer has raved about Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on Match of the Day on BBC One (10:30pm, December 31, 2022).
The Newcastle United legend has said that Arsenal and Norway international playmaker is in “sensational” form at the moment.
The MOTD pundit made the comments while analysing the 24-year-old star’s performance for Arsenal against Brighton and Hove Albion away from home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Shearer was impressed by a brilliant piece of skill that Odegaard produced to create a wonderful chance for Arsenal teammate and Brazil international forward Gabriel Martinelli in the first half.
The £85,000-a-week (The Mirror) attacking midfielder scored a goal and provided an assist for Arsenal in their win against the Seagulls.
