MK Dons have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Troy Parrott, after the man on loan from Tottenham shone in their 2-0 win over Bolton.
What’s the story?
Well, the 20-year-old Spurs loanee failed to add to his four goals this season, although he still delivered a superb display nonetheless.
MK Dons described Parrott as “sensational” on Twitter, which could even be described as an understatement – he was that good.
The Republic of Ireland international had a quiet day on the attacking front, although he ran himself into the ground and put in an admirable amount of effort.
As WhoScored shows, Parrott won seven freekicks for his team, more than any other player on the pitch, and also completed 81.6% of his passes.
It was a tremendous performance, and MK Dons emphasised his exceptional work rate in hilarious fashion through the use of a GIF, which you can see below.
The win moves MK Dons up to third in League One, and they have a fantastic chance of securing promotion to the Championship.
Troy Parrott can make it at Tottenham

Some fans may argue that Parrott needs to be scoring more goals down in League One if he is to make it at Tottenham.
However, the north Londoners must be patient with the Irishman, as it doesn’t always click straight away for young strikers – just ask Harry Kane.
You may remember that Tottenham’s No.10 and talisman initially struggled in the early stages of his career while out on loan at various clubs.

Kane found it tough to find the back of the net during loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, before he shot to stardom under Mauricio Pochettino.
If that isn’t reason to be patient with Parrott, who obviously has plenty of talent, then we don’t know what is.
