Don Hutchison has said on Twitter that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United should make a bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the January transfer window or in the summer of 2023.
The former Sunderland and Liverpool player believes that Tottenham and England international striker Kane would be a “sensation” at Newcastle.
Newcastle urged to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur
Could a transfer happen?
In our opinion, Newcastle United are unlikely to be able to sign Harry Kane from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
There is no way that Tottenham will let go of the £200,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international striker in the middle of the season.
No way.

After all, Kane is Spurs’ best and most important player.
And he is Tottenham’s most prized asset.
Now, we have no doubt that Kane would be a massive hit at Newcastle and would be the superstar signing for Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
But, we do not think that Newcastle will be able to prise Kane away from Premier League rivals Tottenham this month.
Could a transfer happen next summer?
Now, that could be a different story.
It will depend on a lot of factors, such as whether Tottenham and/or Newcastle finish in the Premier League top four, Antonio Conte stays on as the Spurs manager, and Kane signs a new deal.
