The Tottenham Hotspur ace is wanted by a whole host of clubs including Arsenal, according to reports.

According to German media outlet Sport 1, Tottenham could be open to selling Heung-Min Son this summer, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all interested in signing the South Korean, but allowing the South Korean to join one of their rivals could turn out to be a huge mistake from Spurs.

The 25-year-old joined the Lilywhites from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £18 million, and he has gone on to establish himself as a firm fan favourite in north London.

He has racked up an impressive 47 goals and 26 assists in 140 appearances for Tottenham, and his direct playing style and ability to shoot from distance offers Mauricio Pochettino an entirely different option in the final third.

Whilst Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli have drawn most of the plaudits for Spurs in recent years, Son’s stellar displays have often gone under the radar, and his importance to Pochettino’s side is most noticeable when he’s not playing.

According to Sport 1, Tottenham value the 25-year-old at €70 million (£61.8 million), but it could be argued that selling the forward to a direct rival would be bad business, even at that price.

This summer will be a vitally important one for Pochettino and Spurs, and if they truly want to challenge for major honours on all fronts this season, keeping hold of Son will surely be instrumental to their hopes of doing just that.
